Data Management & Reporting
Accurate reporting takes more than meeting deadlines. Schools need reliable data, clear ownership, and someone who can help resolve problems before it is time to certify.
Indiana Charters works alongside school leaders and staff to manage reporting requirements, troubleshoot data issues, and prepare accurate submissions.
IDOE Data Exchange Reporting
We help schools:
- Monitor reporting requirements and deadlines
- Review Data Exchange errors and validation issues
- Identify and correct problems in student and staff records
- Reconcile information between the student information system and IDOE
- Prepare data for certification
- Work through outstanding issues before school leaders certify their data
PowerSchool Data Support
For schools using PowerSchool, we can work directly with staff to:
- Troubleshoot Data Exchange submissions and errors
- Review system setup that affects state reporting
- Correct data problems and improve reporting practices
- Prepare for certification periods
- Coordinate with school staff and PowerSchool support when an issue requires additional assistance
Support for Other Student Information Systems
Schools do not need to use PowerSchool to receive our help. We can assist staff using other student information systems by:
- Reviewing reporting errors
- Helping identify the source of data problems
- Working with school personnel and SIS vendors to resolve issues
- Preparing records for state reporting and certification
Federal and Authorizer Reporting
We also help schools complete federal reports and recurring authorizer reports. We work with school leaders to gather the required information, verify it, submit it on time, and maintain supporting documentation.
Practical help when reporting gets complicated.
We do more than remind schools that a report is due. We help find the problem, work through it with the appropriate staff, and get the school ready to submit and certify accurate information.
